Machine Visualisation Tool

Problem

The internal operations of a drinks machine proved difficult for company staff to understand and promote due to hidden features and shielded components. The company came to the RCID to request a PC based training tool to help educate staff and illustrate the operation of their drinks packaging equipment to potential customers.

Solution

The RCID produced a Windows based software application using Microsoft Visual Studio to fully automate the component operations and process flow of the machine. The tool allows a user to select various process flow stages, providing them with a layout of all the major components and logical states in an easy to visualise format. The software tool has proved invaluable to the company in both training and sales.
